Frazetta Trading Cards Series One, numbers 16-30 (1991)

Frazetta Trading Cards Series One, #16

A couple of days ago I posted the first 15 cards from the first series of Frazetta Trading Cards from 1991, so here’s the second batch.

The set comprised of 90 glossy 2.5 x 3.5in cards reprinting the paintings of popular fantasy artist Frank Frazetta, and was published by Comic Images at the height of the trading card boom of the early Nineties.

There are some great paintings in this second batch of cards, including Berserker (#17) which was used on the cover of Lancer Books‘ Conan The Conquerer, as well as my all-time favourite Frazetta piece Egyptian Queen (#27) – the lighting and colour work on the marble column is breathtaking.

So, here are the next 15 cards in the set – click on the images to enlarge. Please note: some of the paintings feature mild nudity.
