Here are the second batch of trading cards from Frazetta II: The Legend Continues, published by Comic Images in 1993 (cards #1-20 are here). The collection celebrated the work of one of the fantasy genre’s most popular artists — Frank Frazetta.

Frazetta II: The Legend Continues was the follow-up to a collection published two years earlier entitled Frazetta. Like its predecessor this set consisted of 90 trading cards that measured 2.5 x 3.5 inches, and they shipped in foil packs of ten. Also included in the collection were six rare chase cards (three chromium and three spectrascope). The front of each card featured a painting or drawing by Frazetta, while a short caption and pencil sketch appeared on the reverse.
Since the first Frazetta trading card collection featured the artist’s most iconic artwork it’s of little surprise that Frazetta II: The Legend Continues emphasises more of the artist’s lesser known work. Saying that, there’s still some nice stuff here: Kane on the Gold Sea (card #22) is a typically dramatic Frazetta piece, while King Kong (#24) is suitably atmospheric. There are also a couple of examples of Frazetta’s early movie poster work — The Night They Raided Minsky’s (#26) and The Fastest Guitar Alive (#27).
Here are cards #21-40 from Frazetta II: The Legend Continues, both front and back. I’ll post the next 20 cards very soon.
Please note: some of the cards feature mild female nudity.
