With Halloween fast approaching it seems only appropriate to take a closer look at one of Kidrobot’s newest — and certainly biggest — oversized vinyl toys. Fresh from hell comes Homer Simpsons’ nemesis, Devil Flanders!
A few months ago Moe Szyslak, the grumpy, doleful — and occasionally suicidal — owner of Homer Simpson’s favourite watering hole, Moe’s Tavern, received the coveted Kidrobot oversized toy treatment. Finally, something even he can be happy about.
Gene Belcher — the fart-obsessed middle child from animated hit Bob’s Burgers — received the coveted oversized vinyl figure treatment from Kidrobot in 2017. Behold: Beefsquatch!
Regular readers of ‘TaintTheMeat.com will know of my fondness for Kidrobot‘s collection of vinyl toys, particularly the oversized editions. This Keith Haring limited edition, apart from being an attractive figure in it’s own right, also has the benefit of being released to support a noble cause.
Released – or should I say unleashed – by Kidrobot in July 2013 this six and a half inch vinyl figure features a pallid and gruesome Zombie Bart Simpson. Now he truly is a little monster.
Kidrobot have been releasing vinyl toys based on characters from The Simpsons for over six years now, in both three-inch (sold in blind boxes) and limited edition six-inch versions.
